About this role
Accountabilities: Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue objectives through structured account planning, opportunity management, and effective sales execution. Develop strategic account plans that protect existing revenue while identifying opportunities for account expansion and increased solution adoption. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including claims executives, claims operations leaders, SIU teams, technology leaders, and innovation stakeholders. Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand customer objectives, operational challenges, workflows, and strategic priorities. Identify, develop, negotiate, and close new business opportunities across existing and prospective commercial insurance accounts. Create customer retention strategies that support satisfaction, ongoing engagement, and continued solution adoption. Perform gap analyses and develop account growth strategies to uncover incremental revenue opportunities. Partner with product specialists, implementation teams, sales support, and other internal stakeholders to deliver effective customer outcomes. Monitor commercial claims trends, competitive offerings, and emerging industry challenges to inform customer conversations and account strategies. Maintain accurate sales pipeline information, forecasts, customer activity, and account plans using Salesforce and other sales tools. Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers while maintaining momentum toward commercial outcomes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. Demonstrated success in consultative sales, account management, business development, or a comparable customer-facing commercial role. Required experience within the commercial Property & Casualty insurance sector. Strong understanding of commercial insurance claims processes, workflows, operational priorities, and challenges. Direct experience working within claims organizations is highly desirable. Proven ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and decision-makers. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, consultative selling, and relationship-management skills. Strong analytical and project-management capabilities, with the ability to translate customer needs into practical business opportunities. Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery through negotiation and close. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as required. Benefits Base salary: U.S. national range of $89,700–$166,400, with geographic differentials applicable in certain locations. Location-based compensation: Published ranges vary by state and metropolitan area, including higher ranges for certain locations such as New York City. Sales compensation: Pay mix between base and variable compensation varies according to the sales role and is discussed during the recruitment process.
