About this role

Accountabilities:: As a senior member of the product marketing function, you will lead the execution of product marketing initiatives for your assigned product area, connecting customer understanding and product strategy with measurable commercial results. Your responsibilities will include: Conduct customer and market research: Run customer interviews, win-loss conversations, rapid messaging tests, and ongoing market research to understand buyer needs, identify purchasing drivers, and uncover opportunities. Develop competitive intelligence: Analyze direct and indirect competitors across product capabilities, services, marketing, positioning, and messaging to inform acquisition, sales, and enablement strategies. Own positioning and messaging: Build and maintain differentiated positioning and messaging frameworks for assigned products and customer segments, grounded in buyer language and validated through real sales conversations. Translate insights into strategy: Synthesize research findings into clear, executive-ready recommendations that inform product development, company strategy, and customer engagement. Lead go-to-market execution: Develop and manage integrated launch plans covering positioning, sales enablement, campaign inputs, cross-functional coordination, and success metrics. Influence product roadmap and launch readiness: Participate in roadmap discussions, contribute customer and market insights, and ensure products are commercially ready before launch. Coordinate cross-functional launches: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, Product, and other stakeholders to deliver consistent messaging and effective launches. Optimize performance after launch: Monitor adoption, win rates, and other performance signals, using insights to refine messaging and improve subsequent launches. Contribute to pricing and packaging: Bring buyer research and competitive intelligence into pricing and packaging discussions, challenging assumptions and supporting decisions with data. Build sales enablement resources: Create practical battle cards, objection-handling guides, sales plays, and persona-specific content that help customer-facing teams communicate value effectively. Support customer adoption: Collaborate with Revenue and Customer Enablement teams to improve go-to-market readiness, product adoption, and expansion opportunities. Measure business impact: Define success metrics before initiatives begin, including pipeline influence, win-rate improvements, adoption, and expansion signals. Report on outcomes: Evaluate performance against established goals, identify what is working, and use data to improve future initiatives rather than focusing solely on deliverables. Leverage AI in daily work: Use AI tools and workflows to improve research, productivity, analysis, and execution while applying sound judgment to determine where human expertise adds the most value. Build scalable processes: Establish repeatable frameworks and improve existing practices to support the continued growth of the product marketing function. Requirements: The ideal candidate combines strong B2B SaaS product marketing expertise with commercial acumen, independent execution, and a customer-focused approach. You should be comfortable building structure in a fast-moving environment, collaborating across teams, and taking responsibility for measurable results. Key qualifications include: At least 5 years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, with a proven track record of owning positioning, launches, and sales enablement end to end. A strong commercial mindset, with the ability to connect product marketing initiatives to pipeline, conversion rates, win rates, adoption, and revenue. Excellent customer research and synthesis skills, including the ability to understand buyer needs and translate insights into differentiated, defensible positioning. Demonstrated experience independently planning and executing product launches across multiple cross-functional teams. Familiarity with pricing and packaging decisions, including the ability to contribute meaningful recommendations based on customer insights, competitive intelligence, and data. Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to develop messaging that works across sales conversations, marketing campaigns, customer communications, and executive presentations. Strong analytical capabilities and experience defining, tracking, and interpreting performance metrics. Experience conducting competitive research and translating findings into actionable recommendations for Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. A hands-on, self-directed approach, with the ability to prioritize work, manage ambiguity, and move initiatives forward without requiring constant oversight. Meaningful, active use of AI tools in daily workflows, with specific use cases and a clear understanding of how AI can extend productivity and decision-making. Experience in vertical SaaS is strongly preferred; experience serving small and medium-sized businesses or trade-based industries is a significant advantage. Intellectual curiosity, openness to new ideas, and a willingness to challenge assumptions constructively. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, supported by integrity, accountability, and respect for confidential information. A builder's mindset, with enthusiasm for creating new processes, improving existing systems, and contributing to a growing organization. Willingness and ability to travel for company events, onboarding, and team offsites, typically one to three times per year. Benefits: Flexible remote work arrangements. Competitive base salary reflecting experience, qualifications, and the value you bring. Flexible paid time off, with no fixed annual limit and an emphasis on taking time to rest and recharge. Paid maternity leave, parental bonding leave, and medical leave for employees or their loved ones. Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage. Employee-only health insurance plans with 100% of premiums covered; 50% of family coverage costs are covered. Free, confidential mental health counseling through BetterHelp. 401(k) retirement savings plan with a 100% employer match on contributions up to 6%. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). Life insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance. Monthly wellness allowance of up to $60 for fitness, mental health, or other eligible wellness needs. $300 home office setup bonus after one year of employment. Continuing education support and opportunities for professional development. A collaborative, ambitious culture that values ownership, thoughtful risk-taking, constructive feedback, and teamwork. Opportunities to help build and scale a product marketing function while contributing directly to customer and business success. Company and team offsites several times per year, with travel fully supported.
