Accountabilities:: Own organic search strategy and performance across all markets, including local search, technical SEO priorities, content strategy, and organic website experience. Own non-paid new member volume and the share of total acquisition generated through non-paid channels. Develop and manage a content roadmap covering location, service, educational, and high-intent content designed to increase discoverability and encourage treatment-seeking action. Direct website information architecture and organic content experiences in collaboration with the performance marketing function responsible for conversion. Build scalable systems, governance, structures, and workflows for content creation, publishing, maintenance, reuse, and optimization. Own content architecture, taxonomy, structured content, CMS governance, templates, and publishing workflows while translating editorial and business needs into technical requirements. Establish editorial standards and quality controls across internal and external contributors, including review, clinical, compliance, publishing, and maintenance processes. Lead content migration and lifecycle management, including consolidation, redirects, archiving, restructuring, and adaptation to evolving content systems. Manage the end-to-end editorial production workflow, including briefing, assignment, review, clinical and compliance approval, visual coordination, CMS staging, QA, publication, and ongoing optimization. Own AI visibility strategy, including how frequently and accurately AI assistants and AI-generated search experiences cite, describe, and recommend relevant services. Establish measurement for AI citations, recommendations, referrals, and visibility, using findings to guide organic, content, reputation, and distribution priorities. Develop entity, citation, structured data, content, and authority strategies that improve how the organization is understood and represented by AI systems. Monitor AI-generated representations of the organization and relevant treatment topics, identifying inaccuracies and recommendation gaps and prioritizing corrective action. Own reputation and local presence strategy, including listings accuracy, Google Business Profiles, priority directories, reviews, and appropriate community engagement. Establish a cross-functional reputation management framework covering sources that influence discoverability, credibility, and AI visibility. Identify and address inaccurate, outdated, or unfavorable third-party information according to business impact and the ability to influence the source. Manage public relations agency relationships, setting priorities and measuring their contribution to business outcomes, authority, and discoverability. Lead editorial distribution and syndication programs that strengthen authority, relevant third-party presence, and referring domains in priority markets. Own marketing brand strategy and governance, including voice, messaging, visual standards, guidelines, components, and consistent application across channels. Manage design partner relationships, including prioritization, scoping, briefing, quality standards, and effective allocation of design resources. Lead and develop direct reports while managing a distributed network of internal and external specialists and partners. Establish clear ownership, expectations, priorities, success measures, and operating rhythms across the broader organic and AI acquisition function. Partner cross-functionally with Performance Marketing, Access, Clinical, People, Payer Partnerships, Analytics, Technology, and other stakeholders. Maintain quarterly operating plans that connect growth objectives to prioritized initiatives, expected impact, resources, dependencies, owners, and timelines. Build and continuously improve measurement and attribution for non-paid acquisition, documenting methodology, assumptions, and limitations. Report against acquisition and visibility targets, explain meaningful variance, and identify evidence-based actions and decisions. Synthesize search, visibility, reputation, performance, and customer-journey data into actionable findings, priorities, and testable hypotheses. Maintain decision context around what changed, what worked, what did not, and what should inform future strategy. Requirements 7+ years of experience in organic growth, SEO, content strategy, content operations, or related digital growth disciplines, with demonstrated ownership of business outcomes. Proven success in organic search, ideally including local, multi-location, or multi-market environments. Hands-on familiarity with generative engine optimization, AI search visibility, or the entity, citation, content, and authority signals influencing AI-generated recommendations. Curiosity and experimentation mindset for emerging AI visibility practices where established playbooks are still evolving. Strong experience translating business objectives into content strategies and managing the systems, workflows, governance, and contributors required for execution. Experience with CMS platforms, structured content, taxonomy, information architecture, and web publishing workflows, including collaboration with technical teams. Experience managing or directing employees, agencies, freelancers, and specialist partners while creating the conditions for others to execute effectively. Strong measurement and analytical skills, including the ability to work with imperfect attribution, establish defensible measurement approaches, identify data limitations, and translate evidence into decisions. Demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to drive outcomes through stakeholders and teams outside of your direct authority. Strong prioritization and strategic judgment, with the ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs and clearly communicate what will and will not be prioritized. Strong understanding of reputation, content quality, patient privacy, clinical accuracy, and responsible public-facing communication in a regulated environment. Comfortable building new systems and processes where they do not yet exist and continuously improving them as evidence and organizational needs evolve. Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Behavioral health, addiction treatment, or healthcare marketing experience is helpful but not required. Multi-state or multi-location organic and local search experience is a plus. Working knowledge of structured data and schema markup is beneficial. Experience directing PR, creative, SEO, or other specialized agency and freelance partners is preferred. Experience with brand governance, design systems, content migrations, CMS implementations, or major website redesigns is advantageous.
