We are seeking an experienced and visionary Project Director to lead our mixed-use development initiatives in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a major project with significant contract values, managing complex coordination across multiple systems and processes. As the primary point of contact with our clients, you will drive project delivery from conception through execution, demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.Direct and manage large-scale mixed-use projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget parametersServe as the principal liaison between the organization and clients, maintaining transparent communication and building strong collaborative relationships throughout the project lifecycleDevelop comprehensive project strategies, prepare compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and execute projects with precision and efficiencyLead and mentor diverse project teams of 15 or more members representing multiple business lines, including remote teams and subcontractorsAnalyze and effectively resolve complex and unusual business challenges related to risk management, financial performance, contract administration, and resource allocationOversee budget control, cost management, and financial forecasting to optimize project profitability and organizational resourcesManage project schedules, timelines, and milestones while maintaining quality assurance standards and regulatory complianceCoordinate with multiple stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure seamless project executionImplement innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency, reduce risks, and improve operational performanceMonitor project performance metrics and provide detailed reporting to senior leadership and clientsFoster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages professional growth and accountability **Required Skills & Experience:**Minimum 20 years of project management experience in mixed-use development or large-scale construction projectsProven expertise in PMCM (Project Management/Construction Management) methodologies and best practicesDemonstrated success managing projects with high contract values and complex coordination requirementsStrong proficiency in risk management, financial analysis, and contract negotiationExtensive experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams of 15 or more membersProven track record of successful subcontractor and vendor managementAdvanced problem-solving capabilities with the ability to address challenging business scenariosExcellent organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detailStrong analytical and strategic planning abilitiesProficiency in project management software and toolsComprehensive knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi regulatory requirements and building codes At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
