AECOM is currently seeking an experienced CEI Project Administrator to join our growing team and support a variety of transportation infrastructure projects located in the Tampa FL, area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful work that helps shape the region’s infrastructure while working alongside a collaborative and professional team.Responsible for client/project development, resource management, and supervision of construction activities as they relate to contract administration and management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change managementReceives general instructions regarding assignments and exercises initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problemsDirects and assigns specific tasks to administrative and field staff and assists in all phases of the construction projectPrepares and reviews progress estimates and final estimates throughout the construction project durationResponsible for the overall management administration of the project and assists in establishing project-specific objectives and policiesProvides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and serves as a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisorsResponsible for administering the project from the pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, space turnover, and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction projectDevelops and maintains project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverablesCoordinates with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulationsConducts regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety standards.Prepares and presents project status reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key performance indicators, risks, and mitigation strategiesManages project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence, ensuring proper record-keeping and compliance with organizational standardsIdentifies potential issues or conflicts and implements proactive solutions to minimize project delays and cost overrunsParticipates in project meetings, representing the organization's interests and facilitating effective communication among team members and stakeholdersMentors and develops junior staff members, promoting professional growth and fostering a collaborative team environment Minimum Requirements:BA/BS degree plus 4 years of related experience, or AS Degree plus 6 years of related experience, or HS/GED plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency and/or educationValid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records reviewPreferred Qualifications:Professional Engineer (PE), and the ability to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of Project NTP if registered in another stateEight (6) years of CEI or roadway or bridge construction experienceProficient with project delivery requirements, creativity, foresight, working with a multi-disciplinary team to meet project goals and deliver high quality technical excellenceDemonstrates strong judgment in proactively identifying and solving routine and non-routine operational challenges, establishing operational objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guidance across diverse engineering functionsFDOT Advanced MOTCTQP Quality Control ManagerSix years of engineering experience, two of those years involved in relevant transportation projects Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this positionRelocation is not available for this positionAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
