About this role
Accountabilities: Develop Trust and Account Products: Lead the development and continuous improvement of product capabilities supporting account security, account lifecycle management, and customer trust. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive and secure customer experiences while ensuring alignment with relevant compliance requirements. Manage Risk Platforms and Integrations: Oversee third-party risk management platforms supporting account security, trading activities, and business growth. Work closely with Risk and Engineering teams to manage platform configurations, define risk rules, coordinate vendor integrations, conduct testing, and optimize operational workflows. Drive Platform Development: Develop and enhance shared platform capabilities, internal tools, and third-party integrations that support customer reporting, digital asset reporting, and other business or regulatory requirements. Improve Operational Efficiency: Partner with Engineering, Customer Experience, and Risk Operations teams to identify opportunities for workflow automation, streamline case management and investigations, reduce manual processes, and strengthen operational controls. Translate Business and Regulatory Requirements: Work with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and other stakeholders to understand complex operational and regulatory needs and convert them into clear product requirements, specifications, and scalable solutions. Lead Product Execution: Manage product initiatives throughout their lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering to prioritization, development, testing, launch, and continuous optimization. Strengthen Risk Management Capabilities: Collaborate with internal teams to improve fraud prevention, risk detection, account protection, and operational decision-making through effective product features and platform enhancements. Coordinate Third-Party Relationships: Work with external technology providers and internal stakeholders to evaluate integrations, manage platform performance, and ensure that third-party solutions meet business and operational requirements. Drive Data-Informed Improvements: Use product analytics, operational insights, and performance indicators to evaluate product effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and guide prioritization decisions. Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical professional experience. Product Management Experience: At least 5 years of product management experience, preferably within cryptocurrency, fintech, financial services, payments, or other regulated technology environments. Risk and Fraud Management Expertise: Experience working with fraud prevention and risk management products, including risk platforms, rules engines, account protection systems, and operational workflows. Financial Services and Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with account management, risk controls, and compliance requirements within financial services, cryptocurrency exchanges, or digital asset platforms. Platform and Technical Product Experience: Demonstrated experience developing platform products, internal operational tools, workflow automation solutions, and third-party technology integrations. Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, evaluate platform capabilities, and translate business requirements into clear product specifications. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data, identify operational challenges, evaluate product performance, and recommend data-driven improvements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Customer Experience, and Operations. Product Ownership and Execution: Ability to independently lead complex product initiatives, manage competing priorities, make informed decisions, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Additional Technical Skills: Experience with SQL, analytics tools, risk management platforms, or other relevant data technologies is considered an advantage.
