Partners have to be onboarded cleanly. Processes have to hold up to regulators and auditors. As we scale, we need someone who owns that operational spine.We are looking for an Operations Manager to keep the business running day to day — across functions, partners, and Super Group shared services. This is a build role: you will establish processes and controls largely independently at first, then scale the function as the business grows.What you’ll doYou’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:Payments & wallet operationsRun the daily operational rhythm of the stablecoin business: supporting mint, burn, and redemption execution within defined controlsPerform daily reconciliation of ZARsc in circulation against fiat reserves, escalating and resolving breaks quicklyManage operational incidents end-to-end — identify, coordinate, resolve, documentPartner & vendor operationsOwn the operational side of key provider relationships (e.g. custody, identity verification, banking operations contacts)Run the operational onboarding of new partners and integrations alongside product and commercial teamsTrack vendor contracts, renewals, and service levelsProcess, governance & reportingBuild and document core operational processes, controls, and SOPs from scratchMaintain audit-ready records and support compliance, audit, and regulatory information requestsEstablish operational tracking and reporting so the leadership team always knows the state of the businessCross-functional coordinationAct as the operational anchor across the business: coordinating priorities across product, compliance, commercial, and engineeringWork with Super Group shared services (finance, legal, compliance) to get things doneEnsure the business runs efficiently, reliably, and with clear accountabilityBuild & scaleOperate independently in the first phase, then hire and manage operational support as the function scalesCreate the foundation for a scalable operations capabilityThis list covers your core responsibilities – with plenty of room to stretch, explore and take on new challenges as we grow.What you’ll bringYou’re someone who brings:5+ years' experience in operations within fintech, payments, or blockchain/digital assets, this is essentialHands-on experience with payment operations, reconciliation, or settlement processes, with high accuracy and controlExperience operating in regulated environments, with an appreciation for compliance, audit, and reporting requirementsA proven track record of building processes and ways of working from scratch in early-stage or scaling environmentsStrong coordination and stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external partnersThe ability to prioritise effectively and run multiple operational streams at onceHigh attention to detail across reconciliation, documentation, and day-to-day processesA bias for action, consistently delivering outcomes, not just plansDesirable skills you’ve got up your sleeveIt would be great if you also have some the following skills:Exposure to stablecoins, digital asset custody platforms (e.g. Fireblocks), or crypto exchangesExperience in remittances, cross-border payments, or neobank environmentsA strong understanding of African financial systems or emerging-market dynamicsFamiliarity with reconciliation systems, treasury operations tools, or financial reporting platformsPrior experience in a startup or early-stage fintechOur values are non-negotiablesOur culture is underpinned by core values that are linked to key behavioural competencies.
