And we offer you the freedom to be a positive disrupter and turn big ideas into bold, industry-changing realities.For our business, for clients, and for youJOB TITLE: Project Manager, IntegrationsCorporate Title: Assistant Vice PresidentJOB PURPOSE: The Project Manager, Integrations is responsible for the organisation, planning and E2E delivery of change projects, either as standalone initiatives or as workstreams within a broader programme.This role will typically lead one or more change projects in parallel, driving delivery of the Apex Group’s broad and ambitious strategic change agenda at pace, whilst maintaining effective governance and control.The scope of projects will vary widely, depending on both strategic group change pipeline and individual candidate experience, and is likely to include:Integration of external M&A acquisitionsDeployment of / migration to new technology solutionsRe-organisation / optimisation of Group Operating modelDevelopment and launch of new products and servicesAutomation / E2E process optimizationRegulatory changeEXPERIENCE: The successful candidate will have a proven track-record of successfully leading change delivery projects or programmes, leading multi-discipline project teams through all key phases of the E2E project lifecycle in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.COMPETENCIES:Essential:Excellent planning and organisation skillsMinimum 3 years’ experience leading complex projects and smaller-scale programmesGood experience of change management disciplines and methodologies, such as Prince II, Six Sigma, Agile, PMP.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detailHigh energy, inquisitive and engagedSelf-motivated, proactive, resilient and resourcefulProven leadership skills – organising, motivating and leading diverse and distributed teamsExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, both verbal and written in English (other languages are a bonus).Confident and credible partnering with stakeholders and sponsors to MD level and driving broader business engagement in changePreferable:Direct experience of external mergers and acquisitions (separation / integration management)Strong background in financial services – fund administration, banking, custody, depositary, ManCo, Corporate ServicesCreative - aptitude for diagnosing problems/issues and proposing solutions in a deadline driven environment.Experience in Technology changeExperience with vendor managementDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Project ManagementPartner with senior business leaders to define and agree delivery scope, requirements and key success criteria for changeMobilize project delivery organization – establish governance framework and workstream structure, define roles, secure stakeholder buy-in and resource commitmentDrive definition and baselining of requirements, establish effective change controlLead development of detailed project delivery plans, ensuring full scope coverageDrive delivery against project plans - monitor project progress, proactively identify, analyse and resolve issues/ dependencies, ensuring knowledge sharing across jurisdictions and initiating corrective action as appropriate.Support programme managers by leading ‘deep dive’ focus into key phases (e.g. requirements gathering, testing, training, client communication, client novation) or by carrying out rapid assessment of key delivery challenges / issues within larger programmesPrepare and maintain key project / change governance artefacts – including project plans, RAIDs logs, change logs, resource plans, test plans, cost trackingEnsure projects are implemented to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budgetEnsure adherence with all internal and external compliance and regulatory frameworksChampion change awareness and change readiness amongst impacted business teams and stakeholder groupsReport project status to the PMO and key stakeholders, escalating risks and issues on a timely basis.Disclaimer: Unsolicited CVs sent to Apex (Talent Acquisition Team or Hiring Managers) by recruitment agencies will not be accepted for this position.
