Your drive and ideas will help us move faster, improve smarter, and stay ahead of the game.What you’ll be doingAs part of your role, your responsibilities will include: Internal Audit Support the development of risk-based annual audit plans detailing the scope, nature and timing of audit activities.Design internal audit procedures and work programs with data analytics at its core.Conduct internal audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures.Leverage data analytics tools and trend assessments to perform testing of controls.Identify key areas of risk within the company and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks.Discuss audit findings and recommendations with line managers and report significant issues to senior management.Prepare audit reports in line with the approved audit plan. Monitor the timely implementation of the management actions recommended in the audit reports.Lead Internal Audits and support the execution as necessary.Conduct ad-hoc investigations and reviews as requested by senior management.Continuous professional development Monitor the trends and developments in the internal audit area and determine ways to integrate the same in the ways of working.This list covers your core responsibilities – with plenty of room to stretch, explore and take on new challenges as we grow.Essential skills you’ll bring to the tableThe necessary skills that we require for this role include:Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideasA collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross functional teams to hit shared goalsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ballExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high quality workAdaptability – you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast moving environmentsCIA, CFE, CISA or other equivalent certificationRelevant professional qualification for example CA, CPA, ACCAStrong working experience in internal audit, preferably within in a professional services firm or in-house internal audit function for financial servicesThe ability to effectively challenge and influence stakeholders.Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeveIt would be great if you also have some of the following skills:In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trendsPrevious experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulationsExperience with data driven audits and related query languages and data visualisation applications (SQL, PowerBI, Tableau)Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standardsExperience in developing and executing customer retention strategiesUse of audit software would be advantageousExperience in running multiple projectsISO CertificationOur values are non-negotiablesOur culture is underpinned by core values that are linked to key behavioural competencies.
