We're looking for a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming spaces into innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling environments. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to develop comprehensive design solutions that meet project requirements, local building codes, and the unique cultural preferences of the Dubai market. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about design excellence and committed to delivering exceptional results.Develop and execute design and construction document drawings from concept through completion for assigned projects in accordance with project requirements, applicable UAE building codes, and established design criteriaCreate compelling design presentations, renderings, and sketches to communicate design concepts effectively to clients and stakeholdersConduct thorough space planning and layout analysis, ensuring optimal functionality while maintaining aesthetic excellenceApply expertise in color theory, materials selection, and aesthetic form to create cohesive and visually striking interior environmentsPrepare detailed interior architecture specifications and construction documents, including FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) documentationEnsure all designs comply with building codes, ADA requirements, and UAE-specific regulations and standardsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate design solutions seamlesslyManage client relationships through regular communication, feedback incorporation, and transparent project updatesResearch and evaluate vendor documents, materials, and furnishings to support informed design decisionsSupport less experienced team members by sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative work environmentAdapt to evolving project requirements and implement modifications efficiently while maintaining design integrityStay current with industry trends, emerging design technologies, and best practices in interior design Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field4+ years of professional interior design experience in commercial, corporate, or hospitality projectsProfessional license: National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification or equivalentProficiency in design software including Autodesk Revit and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Strong working knowledge of building codes, space planning, and ADA compliance requirementsDemonstrated expertise in developing comprehensive interior design packages and construction documentsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
