Think again!</p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Instructional Content Development:</strong> Assist in designing, developing, and updating interactive training materials, e-learning modules, digital learning assets, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational and corporate teams.</li> <li><strong>Data & Learning Analytics:</strong> Collect, analyse, interpret, and present operational and learning data to support decision-making, evaluate training effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong> Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Facilities, Health & Safety, and HR to gather training requirements and build targeted learning solutions.</li> <li><strong>Reporting & Dashboards:</strong> Prepare clear reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate learning metrics, training insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders.</li> <li><strong>Process Documentation:</strong> Support the development, review, and maintenance of SOPs, quick-reference guides, and process documentation across business units.</li> <li><strong>Performance Improvement & Needs Analysis:</strong> Monitor operational performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in identifying learning opportunities, skill gaps, and corrective training actions.</li> <li><strong>Problem-Solving & Innovation:</strong> Participate in problem-solving initiatives by identifying root causes of performance/skill gaps, proposing practical instructional solutions, and supporting implementation.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Requirements & Qualifications</strong></h3> <h4><strong>Qualifications & Education:</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>N6 </strong>in Human Resource Management, Adult Education, or a related field(completed)</li> <li>No prior work experience required — this is an entry-level internship</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Skills Required:</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>Computer Literacy:</strong> Utilization of computers and digital platforms.</li> <li><strong>Communication:</strong> Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.</li> <li><strong>Time Management:</strong> Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple instructional/training projects simultaneously.</li> <li><strong>Analytical Skills:</strong> Capability to collect, interpret, and present data effectively.</li> <li><strong>Educational & Socioeconomic Understanding:</strong> Familiarity with adult learning theories, workplace learning principles, and socioeconomic/public policy factors affecting education and workforce development.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Attributes Required:</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>Collaborative:</strong> Able to build strong working relationships across diverse teams.</li> <li><strong>Creative Energy:</strong> Brings fresh, innovative ideas to learning design and visual content.</li> <li><strong>Hands-On:</strong> Proactive, practical, and willing to dive deep into operational workflows.</li> <li><strong>Voice & Confidence:</strong> Confident to share feedback, present ideas, and contribute to strategy discussions.</li> <li><strong>Problem-Solving:</strong> Strong critical-thinking and root-cause analysis capabilities.</li> <li><strong>Detail-Oriented:</strong> High level of precision in content design and data reporting.</li> </ul> This is an 18-month contract<br> <p><strong>High Level: </strong></p> <p>At the Takealot Group, our<strong> </strong>Internship Programme will help you build both technical and soft-skills to launch your career, learning from the best in the business.
