Accountabilities:: Lead product launch readiness by gathering, evaluating, and integrating critical trade, distribution, and patient-support requirements. Design and execute comprehensive trade and patient-support strategies that strengthen market access and improve the overall patient experience. Develop and implement GPO contracting strategies aligned with market access priorities and commercial objectives. Build and lead a high-performing organization spanning trade operations, patient support, and field reimbursement. Lead strategic negotiations with specialty distributors, specialty pharmacies, GPOs, patient hubs, and other key channel partners. Serve as the primary subject-matter expert for trade operations, providing internal teams with relevant channel insights, guidance, and strategic direction. Identify operational risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities, developing foundational and innovative solutions that improve efficiency, profitability, and product availability. Monitor competitive and market dynamics to anticipate challenges, inform strategic decisions, and identify emerging opportunities. Establish and maintain patient-support policies, business rules, governance structures, and operating frameworks that promote compliant and consistent service delivery. Build and maintain trusted relationships with strategic external partners to strengthen collaboration and long-term value. Ensure trade and patient-support initiatives are delivered against budgets, forecasts, operational objectives, and broader corporate performance targets. Drive cross-functional alignment across commercial, operational, regulatory, financial, legal, and compliance stakeholders to ensure coordinated execution. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an MBA is preferred. 12+ years of experience across pharmaceutical trade, distribution, GPOs, patient support, and strategic partner management. Demonstrated pharmaceutical trade and patient-support experience supporting the launch of a new product. Experience developing and implementing channel strategies in complex pharmaceutical environments. Experience negotiating, implementing, executing, and monitoring contracts with channel partners. Experience with specialty distributors, specialty pharmacies, GPOs, patient-support hubs, and related pharmaceutical channel stakeholders. Experience supporting a first market entry or launch for a publicly traded company is preferred. Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate market and operational data into actionable strategies. Executive presence, strong accountability, and the ability to make informed decisions in complex and evolving environments. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining effective execution. Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple functions and stakeholder groups. Highly effective, solution-oriented approach to multitasking, operational challenges, and strategic problem-solving. Ability to establish trusted external partnerships and influence senior stakeholders. Willingness and ability to travel 50% or more, including regular travel to Boston.
