What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will be:● Highly detail-oriented with excellent accuracy● Comfortable working with numbers, measurements and spreadsheets● Confident reading and interpreting floor plans or technical drawings● Experienced with Microsoft Excel● Comfortable learning new software and processes● Organised and able to manage multiple tasks● Proactive and capable of identifying ways to improve processes● Reliable and able to work independently● A strong communicator with good written and verbal English● Comfortable working towards clear turnaround-time expectations● Willing to learn a specialised estimating process and take increasing ownership overtime Previous Experience: Experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:● Window treatments, blinds, shades or drapery● Construction or interior design● Estimating or quoting● Architectural or construction floor plans● Project coordination● Administrative or operations support● Working with measurements and pricing● Home automation Industry experience is not essential, provided you have strong attention to detail, are comfortable working with spreadsheets and technical information, and can learn the company's processes quickly. Software: The company currently uses:● Microsoft Excel● Coda / Superhuman Docs● Wave Invoicing● Microsoft Office / Office SuitePrevious experience with these platforms is advantageous, but the ability to learn new systems is more important.
