Adhere to SLA’s to ensure that service delivery is in accordance with customer expectations.</p> <p><strong>This position reports to the Courier Service Manager</strong></p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities can include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage services provided by courier service providers, ensuring service levels are met.</li> <li>Plan, schedule, assign, inspect, record and organise distribution operations as per agreed customer SLA’s</li> <li>Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the department, ensuring regular reviews of SOPs, and identify areas where SOP’s can be improved and implement changes accordingly</li> <li>Daily manage all assigned deliveries and highlight problems to clients and follow through until resolved.</li> <li>Daily manage interfaces to ensure alignment between courier systems and company systems ensuring data integrity of information used.</li> <li>Report, analyze, record and measure all failed deliveries and problem parcels to identify trends and root causes.</li> <li>Maintaining good relationships and manage services of service providers and giving formally measured feedback</li> <li>Examine claims for loss or damage and send to manager for approval of processing.</li> <li>Reconciling of transport account to the agreed monthly rates and ensure that requirements have been met, and recommend payment amount to Courier Manager.</li> <li>Continuously seeking innovative courier solutions for our clients to provide a more encompassed service to our clients.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Post Matric Qualification in logistics or relevant</li> <li>At least 3 years in a distribution and 3PL environment</li> <li>Proficiency in relevant software applications and packages Computer Literacy Prior of knowledge &amp; keeping abreast of transport legislative requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Attributes required :</strong></p> <ul> <li>Able to work under pressure &amp; project a professional image of the company</li> <li>Planning and organising ∙ Conflict resolution</li> <li>Problem solving skills ∙ Patient, supportive with a friendly disposition and high level of integrity Self-confident and act autonomously and in a proactive manner</li> <li>Flexible and open towards change</li> <li>Relationship-building skills</li> <li>Attention to detail/Quality of output</li> <li>Communication: Verbal<br>Communication: Written</li> <li>Methodical ∙ Analytical skills</li> <li>Advanced numerical skills</li> <li>Goal orientated and motivated to succeed </li> <li>Assertive</li> <li>Interpersonal skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join TFS:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Purpose-driven impact</strong>: Transform lives through logistics innovation</li> <li><strong>Advanced technology: </strong>Work with cutting-edge systems in a fast-paced environment</li> <li><strong>Career growth: </strong>Thrive in an agile space that champions continuous improvement</li> <li><strong>Inclusive culture</strong>: Your unique perspective drives extraordinary results</li> </ul> <p>At TFS, your growth is our growth.
