We're looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join our Project Management Consultant (PMC) team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of a mixed-use development project, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as a key liaison between our organization, contractors, architects, engineers, and stakeholders, demonstrating strong leadership and decisive project management throughout all phases of construction.Oversee all aspects of mixed-use construction projects from pre-construction planning through final completion and handoverDevelop and manage comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plansCoordinate and supervise all subcontractors, construction teams, and vendors to ensure efficient project executionMonitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, implementing corrective actions as neededEnsure strict compliance with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standardsConduct regular site inspections and quality audits to maintain construction standards and specificationsPrepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and progress updates for stakeholdersIdentify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues in a proactive mannerManage project communications and facilitate effective collaboration among all project stakeholdersReview and approve change orders, submittals, and construction documentationEnsure adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols on all project sites Minimum 12 years of professional construction management experience on large-scale or mixed-use projectsProven experience working as a Project Management Consultant (PMC) or in a similar advisory capacityStrong knowledge of UAE construction codes, regulations, and building standardsDemonstrated expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost controlProficiency with construction management software and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project)Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and direct diverse teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detailExceptional communication and stakeholder management skillsComprehensive understanding of construction safety standards and risk management protocolsAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently and effectivelyPreferred: Experience managing projects in the UAE or Middle Eastern region At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
