Accountabilities:: Conduct comprehensive competitor research using specialized competitive intelligence and traffic analysis tools, including SimilarWeb, AdPlexity, Meta Ads Library, Tyver, Humble, Blask, and other relevant platforms. Analyze target markets to identify major industry players, emerging competitors, promising market entrants, and changes in the competitive landscape. Monitor market dynamics and evaluate competitor positioning, marketing activities, and business development strategies. Investigate competitors' traffic acquisition sources, including paid advertising, organic search, referral traffic, and affiliate channels. Assess the structure, distribution, and relative importance of different traffic acquisition channels to understand competitors' marketing strategies. Identify and analyze customer acquisition funnels, marketing pathways, and conversion strategies used by competing businesses. Research additional domains, alternative product domains, website mirrors, related projects, and the broader digital infrastructure associated with competitors. Identify similarities and differences between competitors' marketing funnels, traffic strategies, and digital acquisition approaches. Collect, organize, structure, and visualize large volumes of market and competitive intelligence data. Prepare comprehensive analytical reports presenting clear findings, actionable insights, and strategic conclusions. Continuously monitor competitor activity and market developments to provide up-to-date intelligence that supports internal business decisions. Requirements: Practical experience working with competitive intelligence tools, competitor analysis platforms, and digital marketing research or spy services. Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, online customer acquisition strategies, and traffic generation mechanisms. Ability to analyze different traffic sources, including paid, organic, referral, and affiliate channels. Experience identifying and comparing marketing funnels, acquisition strategies, and conversion processes across competing businesses. Proficiency in Google Sheets, including the ability to organize, process, and structure large datasets. Practical knowledge or experience working with cloaking techniques and related digital marketing mechanisms. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify patterns, correlations, and meaningful market insights. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with complex and sometimes fragmented information. Ability to process large volumes of data, prioritize relevant findings, and translate research into clear, actionable conclusions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple research tasks and deadlines independently. A proactive, curious, and solution-oriented mindset, with a genuine interest in digital marketing trends and competitive intelligence.
