AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Graduate to join our Transportation team in a new position based in Pickering, Ontario. This is a new position expected to start in May 2027. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Working within the (Highway) Design group on the planning and design of provincial highway facilitiesPreparation of reports, construction plans, and technical specificationsCollaborating with design teams consisting of multidiscipline design engineers, technicians and plannersWorking under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member and assist with tasks including preparing engineering related calculations, drawings, and visual aidsFollowing corporate quality procedures Minimum Requirements:Must be completing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Transportation, Highway, or Roadway EngineeringPreferred Qualifications:Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, AutoTurn, InRoads/ OpenRoads, InfraWorks)Relevant internship or professional work experience in support of transportation designStrong problem solving and decision-making abilities and interpersonal skillsCapable of using spreadsheet, word processing, Microsoft Project, and standard office softwareExcellent verbal and written communication skills Relocation is not available for this position.Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
