You'll be joining a team powered by Takealot Group's core values. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>This position reports to the : </strong><strong>Hub Manager </strong></p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities can include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the supervision of the fleet and all other secondary roles which flow from this function.</li> <li>Ensures the on-time delivery of product to/from the distribution center. </li> <li>Ensure that fleet is adequate for operations and fully maintained</li> <li>Ensure effective maintenance of fleet and manage schedules vehicle services</li> <li>Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures</li> <li>Must continually work to promote the orderliness and cleanliness of the work area and maintain all company standards.</li> <li>Maintain daily meetings with staff. Meetings are focused on KPI management and other operational feedback for MR and Last mile deliveries</li> <li>Works closely with management to identify and resolve all issues and ensure quality service to our customers</li> <li>Ensures all drivers follow company procedures and apply discipline when and if necessary.</li> <li>Perform all other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager</li> <li>It is required of you to work until your daily responsibilities are completed, which might result in you working longer than normally.</li> <li>Ensure Drivers are available for last mile deliveries daily, by working closely with the labour brokers with driver and assistant requirements.</li> <li>Compete accident and incident reports timeously and submit to respective parties</li> <li>Ensure that fleet costs are clearly recorded and reported to Branch Manager</li> <li>Manage daily staff and overtime efficiently to ensure labor cost is controlled</li> <li>Extracts data and generates reports which will assist in performance tracking and decision making.</li> <li>Ensures all CODs are cashed up and reconciled daily.</li> <li>All administrative documentation is labelled and filed as per procedures.</li> <li>All daily, weekly and monthly reports/ meeting minutes are up to date </li> <li>KPI reports sent out timeously daily and are posted on notice boards</li> <li>Trains and supervise Driver Admins and Drivers to carry out the functions under their control.</li> <li>Uploads all new drivers for verifications.</li> <li>Oversees and arranges staff transport.</li> <li>Ensure that all staff are at work and attendance is 100%.
