We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our urbanism and planning team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pre-contract phase role, you will provide critical support to senior project managers while managing documentation, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with planning regulations. Responsibilities:Assist senior project managers in coordinating all pre-contract phase activities, including feasibility studies, site analysis, and preliminary planning assessmentsPrepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and compliance checklistsAnalyze urban planning requirements and zoning regulations to ensure project alignment with local and emirate-level guidelinesCoordinate communication between internal teams, clients, consultants, and government authorities to facilitate smooth project progressionSupport the development of project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans for pre-contract deliverablesOrganize and track vendor and consultant submissions, ensuring timely delivery and quality standardsConduct research on market conditions, comparable projects, and planning precedents to inform project strategyMaintain organized filing systems and databases for project records, contracts, and correspondenceAssist in preparing presentations and proposals for client meetings and stakeholder reviewsMonitor project milestones and flag potential risks or delays to senior managementSupport contract preparation activities by gathering required documentation and coordinating with legal and procurement teams Proven experience in project coordination or project management support roles, preferably in urbanism, planning, or real estate developmentStrong knowledge of urban planning principles, zoning regulations, and development processesProficiency with project management software and tools Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong analytical abilities to interpret planning documents, feasibility studies, and regulatory requirements At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
